Notes from the OMTPA meeting on 4/19/26:
- Points for attending meetings will go into effect for the 2027 pulling season. This makes the first meeting worth points in November of 2026. Each meeting will be worth 5 points. This rule is locked in for 5 years.
- Updated rules for the Altered Farm Stock class are posted on our website.
- Expect more schedule changes in the near future.
- Each tractor will need to be tech'd at it's first pull of the year. It is the pullers responsibility to arrive earlier that day to find a tech for their division.
- If you are not receiving one calls - you can get ahold of Tim Kirk or message this page and I will send your information to Tim.
Notes from the OMTPA meeting on 11/22/25:
- Make sure your hitches comply with the rules - "Drawbar must be parallel to the ground within 15 degrees."
- During the March 2025 meeting , it was voted in that members will receive 10 points for attending 1 of the 2 yearly meetings, effective for the 2026 season. A motion was made during Saturday's meeting to change this to members will earn 5 points per meeting attended for the year. This motion passed. To receive points for attending a meeting, the owner or driver (as listed on the membership form) needs to be in attendance. *A new member that joins for the 2026 season will receive points for the meeting(s) they did not attend due to not being a member at that time.
- Dues for the 2026 season have increased to $300 if paid by May 1st and $350 if paid after May 1st.
- Bob Evans has been added as a tech for the Altered Farm class.
- A rules committee has been created to clarify and organize current rules.
- The 2025 awards banquet will be held on January 24th at the VFW in Hillsboro. Doors open at 4pm and dinner begins at 5pm. We hope to see you there!
- The Light Limited Super Stock class will now follow the 2024 NTPA rules.
- Important Changes Effective the 2021 Pulling Season:
Driveshaft Straps
All driveline shield components must be tethered on each end by two opposing restraints. Tethers must attach at 180 degrees of each other and a minimum of 3" and a maximum of 6" from each end of each driveline shield component. Tether to be constructed of a minimum of 2" wide by 1/8" thick nylon or polyester strap.
